Trex Signature, Transcend Lineage, Select and PVC Compared

We install four Trex decking lines. Here is what each one is and where it tends to fit.
Trex Signature
Trex Signature is Trex's top composite collection. It has the deepest color variation and the most refined finish of the lines we install. It's the board for a deck where the surface is the first thing people notice.
Trex Transcend Lineage
Transcend Lineage is part of the Transcend family. It comes in lighter, contemporary colors and uses Trex's heat-mitigating technology, so it suits decks that take full sun. Like the other Trex composite lines, the routine care is simple: soap and water.
Trex Select
Trex Select is Trex's entry composite line. It's a clean, straightforward deck board with a smaller color range than the upper lines.
Trex PVC
Trex PVC boards are all-polymer, with no wood fiber. They're lighter in weight than composite. We often pair PVC decks with a Unilock paver patio or landing.
Choosing
The right line depends on sun, the view, the house and how the deck will be used. We walk through samples at the design consultation. Every build carries the 10-year Trex labor warranty, and engineering and permits included.
