A deck is no better than the parts that go into it. We pick our partners the same way we build: for what lasts, not for what is cheapest on a given week. Every brand on this page is one we are certified to install, so you get the factory warranty and the spec the manufacturer intended.

Trex
Trex makes the premier composite decking and railing we put on our projects, including Trex Signature and the full Trex Transcend Lineage collection. Our TrexPro® Platinum status places Pinnacle among roughly the top 1% of Trex deck builders nationwide, so we install to factory spec and register the warranty for you. We pair Trex decking and railing as one system because that is how the 10-year labor warranty through Trex is activated. If you want to see and feel the boards before you decide, Trex will send free samples to your door.
Mascore
Mascore supplies the helical pile foundation systems we specify for elevated decks. Helical piles are steel screw piles driven below the frost line to load-bearing soil, which is what keeps a deck from heaving in Hudson Valley freeze-thaw. We are a Mascore Certified Installer, so the piles are torque-verified and installed to the engineered depth on each job. This is the part of the build you never see again, and it is the part we will not compromise.
Haven Lighting
Haven Full Color LED Deck Light is the product we plan into a deck before it is built. The fixtures go in after the picture frame and railings, laid out, drilled, and set into the finished surface last: in-deck lights in the second picture-frame board, inside the rail line, one centered in each railing section, post caps warm white. The layout is settled at the design stage, not as an afterthought. As a Haven Lighting Certified Installer, we set the fixtures into the structure and program the scenes with you at walkthrough. The result is railing, riser, and accent lighting you control from your phone, with color you can change to fit the night.
Unilock
Unilock supplies the pavers and hardscape we use for patios, walkways, fire features, and the grade-level transitions around a deck. Their units are built to hold up to our winters and the salt that comes with them. We are a Unilock Pro Installer, so the base, edge restraint, and joint work are done to the spec that keeps a paver field flat and tight for the long run. When a project blends deck and stone, this is what ties it together at ground level.
BBQGuys
BBQGuys supplies the outdoor kitchen systems we build into a deck or patio: grills, burners, refrigeration, storage, and the stainless components that have to survive outside year round. We are a BBQGuys Pro Partner, which gives us access to the full line and the support to spec a kitchen that fits how you actually cook. We plan the gas, power, and counter layout with the deck, so the kitchen is part of the structure rather than bolted on after.
Polywood
Polywood makes the outdoor furniture we recommend to finish a deck, built from recycled material that holds its color and shrugs off weather without the upkeep of teak. We are a Polywood Pro Installer, so we can spec pieces that match the look of your build instead of leaving it to a big-box guess. The Eastport Collection in Weathered Tweed pairs especially well with Trex Signature in Whidbey, a combination we reach for often on Hudson Valley projects.
Nexus 21
Nexus 21 makes the motorized TV lift systems we install in covered outdoor retreats, so a television rises into view when you want it and disappears when you do not. We are a Nexus 21 Pro Installer, which means the mechanism is set into the cabinetry or ceiling correctly and wired clean. Hiding the TV protects it from the weather and keeps the space calm and built-in when the screen is down.

Nexus 21 TV LiftNorth Solar Screen
North Solar Screen supplies the motorized outdoor shades we use to close in a covered porch or pergola, cutting sun, wind, and bugs at the push of a button. We are a North Solar Screen Featured Installer, so the tracks and motors are sized and mounted to handle the span and the weather. Messco Building Supply
Messco Building Supply is our local material supplier in the Hudson Valley, and working with a yard nearby keeps our jobs moving. When a build needs lumber, fasteners, or hardware on short notice, a local partner means we are not waiting on a truck from out of state. Buying close to home also keeps our dollars in the region, which we are glad to do. Reliable supply is half the battle on a build schedule, and Messco is who we count on for it. Z3 Consultants
Z3 Consultants is a Dutchess County code-compliance and permit-expediting firm, in business since 1998. On jobs that call for it, they handle the building department side with us: the permit paperwork, the coordination with the town, and the code questions, so the permit keeps pace with the build instead of holding it up. It is part of why engineering and permits are always included in a Pinnacle build, never a line item left to the homeowner.
