Haven Lighting Zones on a Deck

Good deck lighting does two jobs. It makes stairs and edges safe at night, and it sets the mood where people gather.

Zones

Haven Lighting lets fixtures be grouped into zones. That means step and path lights can run on one setting, and a dining or seating area on another.

Safety first

Stairs, landings and changes in level get light first. After that come the railing posts and the areas where people sit.

Planned before the build

Lighting is planned before the deck is built. The order on the job is picture-frame decking, then railings, then the lights laid out, drilled and installed. Wire is pre-run in the open frame only when the deck is too low to get under later.
