The Haven Full Color LED Deck Light system we install does not stop at warm white. Riser lights, post-cap lights, in-deck fixtures, and landscape zones run the full color spectrum — dim amber for dinner, team colors for game night, a whole-deck scene for the holidays — every zone living, breathing, and controlled from your phone through Haven WiFi controllers.
The difference between lighting and living color is when it goes in. On our builds the lighting is planned before a board is ordered and installed after the picture frame and railings — set into the finished surface to the plan, not screwed on wherever a wire could reach. The in-deck lights sit in the second picture-frame board, inside the rail line, one centered in each railing section, and the post caps glow warm white. The lights drop in last. That is what a Haven Lighting build means, and it is why the system on the Hudson Horizon Haven pool deck reads as architecture, not accessories.
Light that lives in the structure.
Riser lights sit flush because the risers were framed for them. In-deck fixtures land where the framing plan put their wiring runs. No surface conduit, no stick-on strips, no fixtures working loose in a Hudson Valley winter — the light is part of the deck because it went in with the deck.

Is deck lighting added after the deck is built?
Yes, and that is the right order. The lighting is planned before the deck is built, then installed after the picture frame and railings: fixtures laid out, drilled, and set into the finished surface, wired from below. The in-deck lights sit in the second picture-frame board, inside the rail line, one centered in each railing section, and the post caps glow warm white. The lights drop in last. Riser, post-cap, in-deck, and landscape zones are part of the plan, so there are no exposed wires or afterthought fixtures.
Can I control deck lighting from my phone?
