The zones
A complete Haven layout works in layers: riser lights that wash each step, post-cap fixtures that define the perimeter, in-deck lights that mark edges and transitions, and landscape zones that carry the light off the deck and into the yard. Each zone can be controlled and colored independently.
Because it is full-color, the same deck can read warm and quiet for dinner or shift to color for a celebration — without a single visible cord or fixture stuck on after the fact.
Why timing is everything
Haven is designed at the framing stage and wired before the decking is installed. That is what lets the fixtures sit flush and invisible, with no surface conduit and no holes drilled into finished boards. Run the wiring after the deck is built and you get exactly the bolted-on look we design to avoid.
Planning lighting early also means it is coordinated with the railing and the deck pattern, so the light reinforces the architecture instead of fighting it.
Part of one engineered system
We specify Haven alongside Trex Signature decking and railing so lighting, surface, and structure are one design. What you see in our project photos — risers glowing, rails outlined, the whole space alive after sunset — is what becomes possible when lighting is part of the build from the first drawing, not an upsell at the end.
